From October onwards, the Kaloum Bluezone will include a space dedicated to reading and literature research on the Internet.
Thanks to collaboration with the Franco-Guinean Cultural Centre (Centre Culturel Franco-Guinéen) and access to the Harmattan Guinea collection (Èditions de líHarmattan Guinée), the media centre will benefit from a large number of books and e-books and will offer users an extensive collection of bibliographical references that will expand progressively over the course of the year.
The Hakuna Matata association, which specialises in the development of projects aimed at promoting education and professional training, will contribute towards providing educational books in conjunction with these programmes. These books, which will be sent to Africa from France, will be distributed free of charge throughout Guinea by Bolloré Africa Logistics.
In addition, a library bus provided by the Cultural Centre will visit the Bluezone once a week to allow users of the Bluezone to borrow books.
