The Guinean association named “Local Strengthening of Associations and Social Initiatives (RELAI) “and its joint committee held a cultural and sporting day on the Bluezone of Kaloum.
This day called ‘weekend Relais” aimed to bring together the members of the platform through cultural and sports activities in order to promote social cohesion and culture.
The organizers were able to meet, share, and interact with the associations of the platform through a conference, a forum, the discovery of a Guinean work, the presentation of a play and to finish in style a football game between members of the association RELAY and the Red Cross.
Several topics were discussed:
– Capacity building of the Guinean associations;
– Promoting partnership spirit;
– Support for individual and collective initiatives on social promotion and local development.
For Sonia, voluntary and Chief Project of the ” Weekend Relais ” the Bluezone of Kaloum is in sync with the aspiration of associations and NGOs in Guinea. “The Bluezone is an important location, spacious that allows the platform to host the event safely,” she told us.
The organization supports to date, 395 associations across the country, through training, close monitoring and the establishment of a documentation center.
